I know it’s been quiet around the blog lately. Rest assured we are all doing well and keeping quite busy. I’ll fill in more details soon. For now, I would like to wish Jay a happy, happy father’s day once again!
We let Daddy sleep in a bit this morning. I had a coffee mug made for him with a photo of him and Theo so this morning we also made him a homemade card and wrapped the mug with a bow. When it was time, Theo walked into the bedroom saying, “I have a present for you! Happy Father’s Day!”. It was so sweet. I also ordered bagel sandwiches this morning so Daddy would have a delicious one waiting for him (with bacon!) when he woke up. It was a nice, leisurely morning.
We did some errands, a Daddy haircut at his request, and then later in the day met our friends for a walk and an early bite. Theo decided it was time to nap in the stroller at 5:30pm! Eeek. We let the boy rest and enjoyed a restaurant outing for probably the first time in ages where we didn’t have to constantly make sure he was occupied, entertained and wasn’t getting into trouble. It was kinda nice. We knew we were in for a late bedtime, though. We took advantage of the evening and played at the playground on our way home with Josh, Laura and Eden.
Thanks to Jay for always being there for me and Theo. Even when it’s your special day, you still took care of me when I needed you to today and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We love you bunches!
