Theo and Lundqvist
Theo has an affinity for Henrik Lundqvist, the NY Rangers all-star goaltender. It’s quite a coincidence because I, too, love King Henrik 😉 He is a Swedish-born goalie who is very easy on the eyes… not to mention an outstanding goalie. Anyhow, Jay went to a game last month and bought Theo this little Lundqvist bear. He just loves it. He snuggles him and tries to nurse his nose 😉 Jay and I were invited to a Rangers game this Wed. Luxury box seats and all! We are leaving Theo with our good friend, Lalena. First time leaving him with anyone other than our parents. Thanks, Lalena and Dan!!
4 months
Theo weighs 15 lbs 3 oz (55th percentile) and he is 26 in (83rd percentile). He has grown exactly one inch each month – except for between month 1 and 2 he grew nearly 3 inches. His head circumference is perfectly in proportion with his body. Doc says he looks like he could be 6 or 7 months old! He had his second round of the oral “rotavirus” vaccine and he also had his second round of the “pentacel” (DTap, HIB, Polio) vaccine. He did very well. This time the doctor said to blow on his face when she was giving him the shot, so Jay did, and he didn’t even flinch! No cries at all. Such a big boy. He can really hold his head up and enjoys standing to show off his leg muscles. He smiles a lot and gives us a few giggles, too. He seems to be so happy and that makes us really happy. We don’t go back until he’s 6 months. Then we start to talk about introducing solid foods! Oh, how time is flying.

Heights… get pumped!
Happy New Year!
We just got back from a busy holiday trip to Cleveland. Theo’s first visit to C-town. He was such a trooper! Going from party to party, having an off-kilter sleep schedule, and meeting so many family and friends. He was passed around and in and out of the car seat all week and honestly seemed to love every moment of it. Well, almost all of it. Here is a little slideshow with a few photos from the week, and some other ones.

He has really grown a lot recently. I know I always say that… but now that we are back home he seems different from when we left. He is grabbing toys quite well now. He mostly puts them in his mouth but he also plays a bit with them. He is happy playing and entertaining himself. He is very vocal, too. Making all kinds of loud squeals and coos. It’s very cute. I noticed in Cleveland even more how he recognizes our voices from the other room and he is inquisitive about everything. He makes the best faces. He also notices his feet much more and pulls his legs up kicking and playing around in the swing or laying down. He will be 4 months on Friday.
