Cue Bob Dylan tunes…

And now Theo is the proud owner of a harmonica! I wanted to get him one for Christmas but it never happened. We were playing with one at his friends house the other day and I was reminded this would be a great addition to his musical instrument collection. We took a trip to our favorite little toy store in Park Slope and picked up a great one for $10!

We went out to lunch afterwards at this old-style soda fountain in Cobble Hill called, Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain. We had a nice lunch date together. Theo has really improved on his restaurant eating skills. Maybe it was the cool spinning seat (we sat at the bar), or maybe it was the new harmonica, but he stayed put for quite awhile and ate up a delicious grilled cheese and we shared a real ginger soda with homemade ginger syrup.

Luckily there weren’t any other patrons, at least initially, and Theo played some tunes for the staff. And then what do you know? Bob Dylan came on the overhead music. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this kiddo is going to be a musician.
