Well, we picked up an adorable, used toddler bed frame from one of the parent listservs I’m on for $20 last night. We moved it in and hooked up his crib mattress with a new choo choo train sheet this afternoon and decided to give it a go for his nap. Could it be true that he is sleeping in it like a baby (well, toddler) right now??! I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure. It’s been 45 minutes and I haven’t heard a peep. I will have to provide an update after we see how the next few days go. And, of course, a photo will be in order. We aren’t exactly sure where it’s going to go in our room (where the crib currently is, next to our bed), and we haven’t officially taken apart the crib. However, we are planning to send the crib (and several other things!) back with Grandpa Joe who is visiting until Wednesday.
Today is a day for many big boy changes around here. We also got a new (old) tall, wooden chair from my Mom so that we can officially move out his high chair, which he technically hasn’t used for awhile. He seems to really like the chair, too! It was my Mom’s husbands when he was a kid. It keeps him up nice and tall and he can use our little butcher block, island thingy as a table. That’s our make shift table for the moment. When did my sweet, little baby boy get so big?
