The sleeping boy

We took a train trip to Fairfield, CT with my Dad on Saturday. One of my stepbrother’s lives there and it was his 30th birthday party celebration. So, we braved the big train ride there (about 75 minutes from Grand Central Station) with my Dad and then turned around about 5 hours later and trekked back, just me and Theo this time. Fortunately he was so exhausted from the day and having never napped that he fell asleep on me within about 10 minutes. I was very pleased to have a sleeping Theo on me. We won’t discuss what ensued on the subway ride home from Grand Central. Poor guy was so tired and disoriented. I should’ve hopped in a cab. Anyhow, I’m glad we made the trip and were able to spend a little time with all four of my stepbrothers (and their respective partners!), as well as my Dad and Sherry.

Tomorrow we are off on our family trip to Portland, OR. We are super excited! The few of you who actually read this blog will have to wait for a nice, long post when we return next week. Ciao for now!
