Our weekend was pretty mellow… trips to the playground, stroller strollin’, a brief trip to Prospect Park, and a little brunch playdate at our friend’s on Saturday. Oh, and a babysitter and night out for Jay and I on Saturday night. Those are few and far between but actually happened two weekends in a row! Theo seems to have come down with a bit of a cold, a congested cough and a runny nose. I sincerely hope he works through it (and we don’t catch anything!) before our trip to Portland next week. We are getting pretty excited. A nice, week-long vacation in the Northwest. I am definitely not going to want to leave. Well, I’m sure I will miss the comforts of home and our cozy abode, and traveling with a toddler obviously has its challenges, but I can’t wait to spend some time out there and for Theo to get to experience some new scenery and people, too.
